Shop policies for all service and repairs

At Strathcona Guitar Repair, we are committed to providing top-notch customer service and treating every instrument that comes into our shop with the utmost care and expertise. To make sure your experience with us is as smooth as possible, we’ve established the following shop policies. Take a quick look before bringing in your instrument – and thanks for entrusting your instruments with us.

  • To keep your instrument safe, please make sure to bring it in with a case. We strongly recommend a hard case.
  • We’ll always provide an estimate for any work we’ve agreed on. If any additional work or costs come up, we’ll make sure to get your approval first.
  • If we need to special order parts for your instrument, we’ll need payment in advance to make sure we can get everything we need.
  • We want to make sure your instrument is perfect – which is why we offer a complimentary follow-up adjustments within 90 days of completing any setup.
  • Please note that our storage space is limited. If you don’t pick up your instrument within 7 days of completion notification, we may need to charge a $5/day storage fee.
