About The Tech
Nathan McMurdo has been immersed in the music industry for over two decades. At a young age, he pursued his passion for music by completing the performance jazz program at Grant MacEwan University. Upon graduation, he quickly established himself as a professional freelance and studio musician, lending his expertise as a lead guitarist to various Canadian recording artists.
In addition to his musical background, Nathan went on to further his skills by becoming a certified luthier and electronics engineering technician, specializing in repairing all types of electric and acoustic fretted instruments.
Over the years, Nathan’s diverse set of skills have allowed him to take on various roles within the music industry. Currently, he serves as a touring backline technician for notable artists such as Dallas Smith, Nancy Wilson, Alan Doyle, and Nickelback.
